the world, represents 22,000 professional fund raisers who serve
a variety of not-for-profit organizations. Through its advocacy,
research, education, and certification programs, AFP fosters
development and growth of fund-raising professionals, works to
advance philanthropy and volunteerism, and promotes high ethical
standards in the fund-raising profession. |

The Association for Healthcare
Philanthropy
(AHP), founded in 1967, is the only organization dedicated exclusively
to advancing health care philanthropy and resource development.
The primary authority on health care philanthropy, AHP represents
the interests of health care development professionals in today's
rapidly changing health care environment. AHP has over 2,700
members in its seven regions, representing thousands of hospitals
and health care organizations throughout North America. |

The Council for Advancement and Support
of Education
(CASE) is an international association of education advancement
officers, who include alumni administrators, fund raisers, public
relations managers, publications editors, and government relations
officers. The ultimate goal of advancement professionals is to
enhance their institutions by bringing in support--be it in the
form of money, alumni loyalty, public esteem, or new students.
In turn, CASE's purpose is to help these people advance the cause
of education. It does this by offering information resources
and training opportunities to aid members. |
